Smart Communications posted public apology on their official facebook page today for ongoing maintenance

Smart communications posted public apology on their official facebook page today. “SMART ADVISORY: You may be having trouble using your mobile data service as of the moment. This is due to the ongoing network maintenance work that is taking longer than expected. We are working to normalize service at the soonest possible time. Our sincere apologies for this. Thank you for your patience and consideration”.

A lot of their subscribers is experiencing internet connectivity problem that started several days ago. As per DeeDee Marie Holiday one of their subscribers, “Please expedite this. I am paying thousands of pesos for your "services" and we should get the service you promised. Otherwise, we should get rebates for every lost hour”.

Maybe Smart noticed that a lot of their clients are getting pissed. I admire how ballsy smart’s move to apologize in public. However, I think people deserve the apology. Not only that, as a customer who pays every month we deserve to be compensated. I hope things change for the best here in the Philippines. I hope the new administration of President Rody Duterte improve the services we are getting. Services like Internet, Electricity, Public transportation etc.

We are so tied down with oligarch families who run giant businesses. They don’t have a lot of competitors that people can choose like in the United States. That left us no choice but to live with their crappy service. It’s like we’re getting harassed everyday for paying something we can’t use. As per Nelson Castillo Pacis: "I dont need ur "sincerest apologies" kuno...what i need are efficient and fast connection! Or refund on what i paid, for the days that i encountered problems with my 3 THREE POSTPAID PLANS!!! ...eh araw araw me problema!!!wapak! Presidente DUTERTE pls HELP US..."

I hope that opens your eyes Smart Communications. People are empowered now with social media. We have the power to express ourselves. Let’s make Philippines a nice place to live with. Let’s give the best service out of the hard earned money that customer are paying. Let’s make it happen.
